About Us

Welcome to our nursery.  Since opening in September 2016, our nursery has gone from strength to strength.  Children can start as soon as they are three and are immersed into school life right from the beginning.  Nursery and reception children are educated together for the large part of the day and spend much of the time learning indoors and outdoors.

Many parents choose our school for our outdoor environment and the provision we offer in it.  Children can spend much of the day outside (whatever the weather) as we have a covered area as well as a playground for larger construction and water play. Our woodland offers opportunities for many adventures and even our youngest children can often be seen cooking on a camp fire, building dens or using sharp tools.

Our Nursery children have a variety of attendance patterns during the week, ranging from 2.5 to 32.5 hours. We are registered to offer the Government’s 15 ‘universal’ funded hours of childcare and, subject to eligibility, the 15 ‘additional’ funded hours of childcare, as well as privately paid hours. We are open term-time (equivalent to 38 weeks per year) from 8.45am to 3.10pm, in line with the school day. We also have wrap-around care provided on site by our Kipling Club (subject to separate charge).

If you would like to come and visit please call the office and we would love to show you round.
